the perks of being a wallflower is one of the best (maybe the best) books i've ever read. i really connected with it, as many people here did. i've only read it four times, but i convinced my english teacher to read it and now it's one of her faves. i have to keep reading it, because i'm sad when it's over. half of this is because well, it's a pretty sad ending, and the other half would be that in reading it, you really get to know charlie. after august 22, 1992 (i think that's the date), you turn the page, and charlie's gone! i doesn't hurt any less everytime i read it, even though i know what's coming. well, i'm done babbling. glad to be part of the community!
